Problem-B-Gone

Problem-B-Gone
Problem-B-Gone is a TWO-PART stain removal system designed to remove extremely difficult spots and stains.

When used according to directions, it is very effective on organic AND inorganic stains such as those caused by coffee, tea, mustard, wine, vomit, urine, juice, RED children’s drinks, cough syrup, etc. May be used on all colour fast synthetic carpet including nylon, polypropylene & polyester. May be used on commercial, residential, looped, cutpile, cut & loop, plush, etc. For Wool, use “Red Vanish for Wool”. Test all carpeting for color fastness before applying any carpet cleaning product. Since Problem-B-Gone is a strong oxidizing stain remover, dye loss is always possible; use it with caution on synthetic fibers, and never use it on natural fibers such as wool or silk.

General Information:
Problem-B-Gone can be used with or without heat with excellent results. For most stains, we recommend using it without heat. Using heat will speed up the stain removal process, but will also increase the risk of bleaching.

Application:
- Rinse stained area well to remove excess staining material and to remove any residue from previously applied products.
- Blot the stained area as dry as possible with a clean white towel. bWearing protectiver gloves and goggles, mix equal amounts of Problem-B-Gone part one and Problem-B-Gone part two in a clean
separate container.
- Apply mixture generously to the stain within ten minutes. bAgitate with a blunt object such as a bone scraper. The stain may disappear immediately or it could take a few hours for the chemical
reaction to reach completion.
- Discard any unused mixture and NEVER, place mixed product in a closed container... The container can build up pressure and rupture!
- We highly recommend you rinse the area after the stain is removed to prevent anyone from coming in contact with the wet mixture.

USING WITHOUT HEAT:
Apply Problem-B-Gone according to application directions above and allow to dwell. If the stain doesn’t disappear or can’t be removed after several minutes dwell time, reapply and cover with plastic to slow down the drying. Most stains can then be easily removed with a good spotter and an absorbent towel two to twelve hours later.

USING WITH HEAT: (Due to its low melting point heat should not be used on Olefin.) Please note: Heat will speed up the stain removal process, but will also increase the risk of bleaching the carpet. When using heat, apply Problem-B-Gone according to above application directions, set a household type iron on the lowest setting. Place a wet towel over the stain and place the iron on the towel. Check every 10 - 20 seconds to monitor progress. Stop the procedure if any sign of bleaching occurs. TIP: An even better heat source than an iron is a wallpaper remover/steamer... (The use of a towel isn’t necessary when using a wallpaper steamer.)

Stability................................. Stable but excessive heat and contamination will cause decomposition of Part One.

pH....................................... Part One ph: 4.0 - 4.5, Part two pH: 12.0 - 13.0, pH mixed 9.0-9.5
